Remy - a workspace or a place to manage what I build?

I’m trying to understand where Remy is supposed to fit into my everyday work.

Am I meant to think of Remy as a new central workspace where I could eventually do most of my work. Answer emails, work with Claude or ChatGPT, build websites and apps, manage workflows, etc. In other words, could Remy become the place I start my workday instead of jumping between all these different tools?

Or is Remy primarily a place to build and manage websites, apps, and workflows? In that case, I’d still answer email on my Mac, manage my calendar elsewhere, use my other tools normally, and go into Remy when I need to use or manage something I’ve built there.

Basically: Is Remy trying to become my workspace, or is it a toolbox inside my existing workspace?

Anyone have a clear way of thinking about this? Thank you!

Hi Deborah, that's a great question.

Here's how I'd look at this given the examples you shared:

Email: if your current inbox is missing something, like AI-drafted replies or smart categorization, you could build a custom inbox in Remy. If your current client works fine, there's no need to replace it
Claude or ChatGPT: these models are available in Remy through the API, so you won't get the native memory and personalization features built into their native apps, but you could build similar functionality yourself
Building apps, websites, and workflows: this is exactly what Remy's designed for

This really comes down to whether your current tools work for you or if you'd rather have something custom-built specifically for how you work.
